In preparation for The CIRS Summit, patients with specific causation for endos were confirmed to have the worst Neuroquant findings, specifically cortical grey atrophy, SLV dilation and FP atrophy.
A literature search on parkinson’s led to many references regarding TLR2 and neurdegeneration with intriguing papers linking TLR2 to lymphocyte activating protein 3, with regulation of intra/extracellular deposition of alpha synuclein.
We use CD14, TLR2 and TLR4 activation to determine specific causation of endos.
On a curious whim, Dr. Shoemaker looked at the T3+ dispersion + data set for upregulated TLR2, finding 14/22 patients (63%) had positive TLR2, with T3 + dispersion – having 8/33 (24%) + TLR2.
Wonder how the logic that says TLR2 enhancement increases extracellular alpha synuclein will fare!
