Louise Carder

Louise holds a BSc in Nutritional Medicine from the University of West London. Louise has over 15 years experience in clinical practice, specialising in chronic inflammatory conditions (including neurological effects, such as cognitive decline). Louise became a certified Bredesen Practitioner in 2016 and is currently the only fully certified Shoemaker Practitioner in Europe and the only Nutrition professional yet to be fully certified, a status she attained in 2018. Louise is a member of the BSEM and is a certified practitioner with the IFM. In 2018 she founded Colab Services Ltd to bridge a gap in specialist clinical testing for European Practitioners. Louise has rounded out her 15 years clinical experience with previous technical roles for both a supplement company and diagnostics company, and for a short while being a Director of BANT, a national membership body for Nutritionist in the UK. She held positions of inaugural Head of Communications and Regulatory Chair. Louise is currently undertaking a part-time Masters degree in cPNI, and collating data ahead of PhD studies.

As a clinician Louise is the owner of LCNH Ltd, a clinical practice that offers virtual appointments with Louise and her team, where she specialists in Nutrition whilst utilising the Functional Medicine framework in which she has undertaken several years of post-graduate study. Louise is also able to offer face to face appointments in Lincoln, UK. Louise is passionate about supporting clients with complex, chronic health conditions, especially when related to environmental exposure.

Louise is a regular speaker at conferences, summits and podcasts and chapter author of the 2014 book Integrated Approaches to infertility, IVF and Recurrent Miscarriage, edited by Justine Bold and Susan Bedford, published by Singing Dragon.
