About this speaker
Trained as a Registered Nurse and Certified Midwife prior to emigrating to Canada, Jane worked in a variety of acute care and community nursing specialties before pivoting, as a result of her own health journey, to focus on Environmentally Acquired Illness / Biotoxin Illness (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome).
Jane became a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach in 2019 and Shoemaker CIRS Proficiency Partner in 2020. She was a founding member of the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI).
Jane has received training in the Biology of Trauma and Medically Important Remediation. She is a faculty member of the CIRSx Institute and co-authored the CIRSx Coach and Consultant Course for allied health professionals

Jane won a human rights complaint against her employer which has set a precedent in Canada for ERMI / HERTSMI-2 testing for environmentally sensitive individuals in the workplace.
